Dr. Jurriaan Penders |

Jurriaan Penders is Chair of the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG), the national federation representing physicians and medical students in the Netherlands. Jurriaan is as an occupational physician by education, he has worked extensively at the intersection of clinical practice, workplace health and healthcare leadership.
He also holds senior responsibilities in occupational health services in the Netherlands. In his current role, he is an active advocate for high-quality medical practice, professional wellbeing, safe working environments for healthcare professionals, and the societal role of doctors in times of pressure and change. His work reflects a strong commitment to supporting physicians and strengthening resilient, accessible and humane healthcare systems. |
