Dr. Peter Almos |

Peter Almos serves as President of the Hungarian Medical Chamber and Vice-President of the Standing Committee of European Doctors. His academic work currently focuses on the mental health of physicians and the wellbeing of the healthcare workforce.
He has been engaged in healthcare advocacy for more than a decade, including work related to transparency in the Hungarian healthcare system and successful efforts against medical corruption. As President, he has steered the Chamber through a period of intense state pressure, defending professional autonomy under authoritarian governance.
His current priorities include contributing to the national healthcare system by restructuring and supporting the transition toward a more modern, value-based healthcare framework. |
